This 6 day course is aimed at primary teachers, PE Coordinators, HLTA’s and sport coaches (head teachers discretion). Written and quality assured by Sport Leaders UK and the Association for PE this nationally recognised qualification aims to up skill delegates to be able to improve the overall delivery of the PE curriculum within a primary school. The course comprises of 45 guided learning hours, delivered by Juliet Rayden (QTS) with a strong primary PE background, and 96 independent learning hours. There will be a certain number of school based assignments covering the role of PE in schools; curriculum maps; planning and assessment; ‘good’ to ‘better’ teaching and safe practice. The course, based in a local primary school, links theory with practical application and delegates will observe and deliver PE lessons during the course..
Course dates: 16th Oct, 4th Dec, 29th Jan, 12th Mar, 14th May and 18th June.
