Orienteering is an active outdoor adventure sport that challenges both the mind and the body. Finding points and making choices develops self belief, respect and teamwork. Boys and girls compete together.
Your team of 10 (no gender requirements) will have to navigate a mapped course to find a series of points. The team that achieves this the fastest wins!
New to 2018: there is a county-wide focus on making the orienteering a developmental competition. Therefore your team(s) should not include pupils that feature in other school teams. This is an opportunity to target some different pupils.
The county final will be held at Marlborough College in July.
