Our new ‘INTRODUCING’ programme is the perfect way to get your pupils (and your school) more involved in competition. The morning will commence with coaching the fundamentals of tag rugby, an introduction into the main rules of the game and some simple game strategies. In addition to being a fun and active morning for the participants, this will also be useful for staff wanting to learn some key coaching points. The participants will then be put into teams and will play some friendly matches.
The SSP will hold competitive events in tag rugby in March (both yr3/4 and yr5/6) so this could be a valuable way to introduce the sport with a view to preparing a team(s) for that event.
It is open to boys and girls and you are welcome to bring up to 30 pupils (but please indicate on your entry how many you are intending to bring).
