This new course will focus on topping up the knowledge and skills of ECT’s/ ECT’s + 1-3 in delivering high quality physical education.

The course will be run in terms 3-5 (2.5 days), two days out of school, one theory and one practical day. The final half day will be spent with each delegate in their school with their class.

The course will cover:

• knowledge and understanding of PE as a subject as a core part of the curriculum and the impact PE, sport and physical activity has on pupils
• develop skills and knowledge in delivering high quality PE (progression of skills, adaptation, class management, assessment)
• practical focus which will include gymnastics, dance, fundamental movement skills and invasion games
• practical delivery support with each delegates class

Day 1 -Tuesday 10 March 9am – 3pm Arkells Conference Centre, Kingsdown Brewery, Swindon SN2 7RS

Day 2 –
