This 7 day course is aimed at Teaching Assistants and Sports Coaches working in schools. Written and quality assured by 1st4sport and the Association for PE this is a nationally recognised qualification that will develop delegates knowledge of primary physical education and school sport and will provide the skills to enable them to support the delivery of PE and school sport programmes. In this practical and theoretical course delegates will study all aspects of physical education including long, medium and short term planning, assessment for learning, safe practice and the skills needed to deliver high quality PE. We will cover all physical activity areas of the PE National Curriculum including fundamental movement skills, OAA, gymnastics, dance and games.
Dates of the course: 6th Nov, 15th Jan, 26th Feb, 2nd April, 21st May, 25th June.
